ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY PASS IT ON, INC

IS ON LOAN UNTIL NO LONGER NEEDED

ELIGIBILITY

Pass It On's primary charitable purpose
is to provide equipment to challenged
children and their families who:

  • do not have insurance coverage for an item
  • cannot afford insurance co-pay of an item
  • do not have the funds to purchase an item
  • have capped-out their DME insurance coverage

BUT...

Pass It On is for everybody! We realize that there is a unique set of circumstances
behind every request that we receive.
Here are just a few common scenarios
  • Many families items are lost , stolen, damaged, or destroyed. Replacement through insurance is never a sure thing and can take a very long time
  • Duplicate items can be requested when a child resides in more than one setting.
  • Trial periods. Equipment is available for children to experience, and the families and therapists to evaluate for appropriateness.
  • Justification. Therapists use our program to justify the therapeutic value of specific items to meet insurance requirements.
  • Families sometimes need equipment right away. We can loan the equipment until insurance provides you with the ordered item.
  • Expense. All DME is expensive and cost prohibitive for many families with even  moderate incomes.
